Developers can now sign up to develop external tools for VALORANT

Developers can now apply on Riot’s developer portal for API access to start the development of VALORANT related tools and applications. So if you plan on developing some helpful VALORANT tools, it’s time to sign up!

For now the application seems to be only available for larger scale projects, not personal ones.

How to sign up for VALORANT API access:

  • Visit the Riot Games Developer Portal: https://developer.riotgames.com/
  • Login with your Riot Games account
  • Register for an Production API Key on https://developer.riotgames.com/app-type
  • Choose to sign up for a production api key, read the general policies and fill out the form and verify that it’s really your product.
  • Wait for the manual approval by Riot Games.
